I find the whole ordeal sort of ridiculous and many probably agree with me. I mean sure artists need ther recognition but as artists shouldn't they want there work to live on in others creativity. Wasn't that the point in the first place? I learned that its more than likely that it isn't the artist who gets pissy over copyright infringment but the company that distributes the work. Its understandable in some cases though like movies and t.v shows but only if it was actually a unique thing made up by there own creativity. With music I find that many musicians just want there stuff to be heard and don't care how until a major corporation gets involved. In the end its only about the money and the money. Everyone is greedy and jealous, so if they dont get something out of it they want everyone else to fail. I have always enjoyed remixes but now I love them because its someone showing there version of things and in spite of the corporations owning the material they remix they are not scared they just want their art to be shown.
